It is a sad Sunday when nobody feels like getting out of bed, plugging in the old iPod, and bouncing around to some tunes. But there you have it. Last Sunday, Alissa and I were both sick, sick, sick.
If any of you put on your dancing shoes and headed to NiaSpace on Sunday, only to find a closed door and a menacing silence, we’re sorry. Awfully sorry! If makes us sick, just sick. Which we already were.
To me, that image is extra funny because THERE REALLLY IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY CACTUS. Like, I’ve said those exact words in the not-too-distant past.
That machine is SICK.
Now, back to business. Synonyms.com tells us, helpfully, that synonyms for dance include “terpsichore,” “saltation,” and “tripping the light fantastic toe.” I don’t know about you, but after last Sunday I am seriously jonesing for some terpsichore! Salivating for saltation! My light fantastic toe is aching to trip! So please take courage in this time of illness and join me next week for “a series of rhythmical steps (and movements) in time to music”!! (Ignore the baby in the following picture):
